     Today was the day that we rode the nice flat stretch at a leisurely pace, stopping at a few shops along the way. It was also very hot. We were in speed groups this time, instead of families. It was a very short ride. The first shop was the apple farm; "apple lane farms", and the second was a shop in Los Olivos. One of the funniest memories that I have from there was when my friend tried an Icee that he found in the trash, and said "Tastes less like blue-raspberry, and more like... 'putrid purple'"
