Dancing Around the World

It's the new year, so we're off to dance in other countries with a complete stranger (not my idea)!

Well, here's Idaho. Not as many potatoes as I expected.
Greece: the land of gods and great architecture.
Rwanda has so many different kinds of people; rich, poor, powerful, nobody was "average".
The Gaza Strip I knew nothing about, so I was glad that matt was there.
Here is a Map of where I danced:

Skateistan Blog

Today, my Social Studies class is going on another of these dumb adventures. We are going to AFGHANISTAN! Probably John's worst idea yet. Anyway, here we go.

It is our first day here, and the worst part really is the weather! It's very hot, and there isn't that much water. John decided that we would be helping some kids with skateboards, so I guess that's pretty cool.

  1.      Today we are going to go to the old palace. It's totally wrecked. There are still soldiers here for some reason, though. We asked them and they actually LET us SKATE THERE!!! They even took a picture of me with an AK-47! When we get back, I'll help build some ramps at the new location. Luckily, I brought a sleeping bag when they said we'd be sleeping on the ground!

Day 6: HOMECOMING!

View Day 3: HOMECOMING! in a larger map      Today was homecoming. We all got to see our families, rest, and best of all, there was cake! Also, I wore my roosevelt shirt. As you can see, I have great school spirit... for the wrong school!!
